The client needed a service that combines a wholesale offer presentation with the ability to quickly purchase products online. The key was to shorten the path from selecting the thickness of polystyrene to making a purchase decision.
The second issue was pallet delivery and recurring questions about transportation costs. We wanted clear rules and automatic fee calculation depending on the quantity in the cart.
The third goal was usability on every device. We prepared three refined views: desktop, tablet, and phone, so that the calculator and store work equally conveniently on mobile devices.
- We launched an elevation calculator that calculates packages based on the area and thickness of the insulation
- We implemented pallet shipping logic with half-pallet and full-pallet thresholds and support for larger quantities
- We prepared a full set of content and graphics and deployed the entire project to the server, ready to use
Result: the client calculates needed quantities faster, sees the actual delivery cost, and completes the purchase more efficiently.
